A deliberately faulty fictional SaaS used to demonstrate two reproducible public-page findings.
Coverage and limitations
Controlled demonstration, not a customer audit. Both defects were deliberately seeded in a fictional SaaS. Genuine browser screenshots and saved HTTP responses are attached. Narrow desktop Chrome emulation is not a physical mobile-device test. No sign-in, submissions, payment processing, security audit or exhaustive accessibility test was performed.
Captured: HTTP captures: 2026-09-06 20:05 UTC; browser evidence: 2026-09-06T20:34:31.104923+00:00 to 2026-09-06T20:36:50.341027+00:00 Environment: Chrome 152.0.7977.83 on macOS; desktop viewports 1365 × 900 and 390 × 844 CSS px, 2× screenshot density. Separate saved HTTP response checks.
Tab focused Home then Pricing; Enter opened Pricing at 1365 × 900.
Keyboard access to trial link
Reachable; destination failed
At 390 × 844, Tab reached Start free trial and Enter opened the visible 404 page.
Two-width layout check
No horizontal overflow observed on the two pages
1365 × 900 and 390 × 844 desktop viewport checks. Home screenshot at 390 px shows wrapped text and visible action. See operator notes for exact coverage.

DEMO-01 defect · High
The primary trial link opens an unavailable route
Observed
Both public pages link to /start. Activating the link by keyboard from Pricing and by pointer from Home produced the visible 404 error page. The saved HTTP response also reports 404.
Expected
The main trial link resolves to the intended next step.
Location
Fixture homepage and pricing page → /start
Reproduce
Serve the included fixture locally on port 8765.
Open Pricing at a 390 × 844 desktop Chrome viewport.
Press Tab until Start free trial is focused, then press Enter.
Observe Error code: 404. Reproduce from the Home page by clicking Start free trial.
Acceptance check
Update both trial links to an existing intended destination, then confirm its HTTP response and browser content.
The homepage states €19 per month for Starter with monthly billing; the pricing page states €29 per month for the same description.
Expected
The same plan and billing cadence use a consistent price, or clearly explain why the values differ.
Location
Fixture / and /pricing.html
Reproduce
Open the homepage and note the Starter monthly price.
Open Pricing and compare the Starter monthly price.
Acceptance check
Choose the correct business price and use it consistently, with any tax or promotion distinction explicitly explained. This report does not decide which price is correct.
